Partly from boredom but mostly curiosity - this site now runs in a Docker container. Single host hypervisor environments are becoming obsolete.

A February power outage 'killed' one of the switch ports on a(relatively new) linksys multilayer network device. Site has been restored from what I thought was a failed d-link NAS. Love me some LMRT.

c3p0 had a capacitor blow or fail or something on the motherboard so I've lost a few months of content. In short, I've left the city, live in the country, have an awesome baby boy, implemented Xen as my current hypervisor, and configured daily rsync backups, pronto. evoen.net is 8 years old :)
